Transfer to U of M. Ross School of Business

I'm thinking about transferring to the Ross School of Business from the Kelley School of business at Indiana University - Bloomington.

I am a freshmen and have a 3.7 GPA with 14 AP credits, 8 Language credits and 30 credits by the end of the year (semester system) total of 52 credits.

I'm involved in my residence hall as an activities board member and I am also in
Investment Banking club and undergraduate investment club.

How hard is it to get in to Ross as a transfer
and what do you think are my chances?

bump... please guys, any insight on Ross transfer rates or admission tips would be great.

hs stats are the biggest factor in your admissions decision at this point, so we'll probably need that first

I had a 3.3 GPA in high school and i did terrible senior year, i dropped calculus and made C's second semester. However, I did receive the AP Distinct award and even though I got a D for Statistics I got a 4 for the AP exam. I had a terrible case of senioritis, so I'm hoping that the upward trend from my first year at University will help.

I took AP English, AP Biology, AP Computer Science AB, AP Economics Micro/Macro, AP Statistics and half a semester of AP Calculus AB. The rest were either honors or IBSL/HL

Extra curriculars was Amnesty International and Orphanage Club
I also had a summer internship with Deloitte.

i'm not familiar with ross, so i'll procede as if it is as selective as the rest of uMich

i thin you'll have a shot...your ec's leave something to be desired...a 3.7 is certainly very solid, but im not sure if one semester of grades in college will be able to compensate for a underwhelming performance your senior year, which was only the beginning of this calendar year...for someone applying to business school, a c in calculus and D in statistics could hurt your chances a may still have a shot though

I’m in the same situation but earned a 4.0 first semester here at IU.

What was the result?
