Transfer to UC Berkeley?

I have weak EC’s, need to take SAT’s (for Berkeley) and will miss the deadline for applications anyways on November 30th. The following is what my resume looks like right now, but with pending EC’s that will come by the time I apply in 2010. Note all the following information is since I began school at my local community college.

Pending wrestling accolades (Spring 2010)
Pending Brazilian Jiu-jitsu trophies (???)
Pending Mercy Hospice (February 2010)

Work Experience

Research Experience
Pending (Plan to publish two papers, numerous hours as a lab rat and start research project on how the orbit of celestial bodies might influence facial structure)
Pending history research at local museum (WWII related)

Applications –

Brown University (Dream School)
UCLA (TAP program)
UC Berkeley (Reach?)
UC Davis (Safety)
UC Irvine (Safety)
UC Santa Barbara (Safety)

Is there anything I need to improve on besides a low GPA?

Brown is a reach
Berkley is a low reach
Don’t know much about the rest of the west, however.

not too familiar with transerring…

if your pending things come through i’d say youve got good chances though. brown is possible. they accepted 117/972 transfers last year.

do really well on the sats

it may be difficult to do brown but i think you can do all the others.

good luck. nice ecs, esp the job shadowing if you’re looking to get into medical stuff
