Transfer to UW Madison

Currently a male Wisconsin resident enrolled at the University of Arizona. It is costing a lot more than expected and I am looking to go back in state. I was wait listed then denied when I applied in high school.
-Freshman

  • 12 credits from AP’s (5 on psych, 4 on Gov, 4 on APUSH)
  • 3.27 HS GPA
  • 31 ACT
-Taking 15 credits 1st semester, 3 over winter. 18 finished when I apply. I am pre business/Mandarin minor (Chinese is 5 credits, and I will likely get a B which is why my GPA will likely be the 3.4-3.6 range), will probably switch out of business though.
    -Likely 3.4-3.6 GPA
-volunteer tutor a couple hours a week at local middle school
    -investment club
    -intramurals
-Have some good letters of rec from HS (not sure if they are even relevant at this point)

What are my chances? Any action I should take to ensure admission?

If your college GPA is in the range you think it will be, you should have a good shot, in my opinion, especially being in-state.
