Since transfer rates to Yale are tooooo low…I would like to know the strategies to get in…
Does it help if you are from a good reputed national university instead of a Communtiy college…
How much SAT s and GPAs matter…
Is it better to apply after 1st year or 2nd year?

They do take people from community colleges. Based on the people I know who have transferred to Yale, your best bet is to go to another top 25 college and get pretty close to a 4.0. Transferring after 1st year is much more common than tranferring after 2nd year. Make sure you have a specfic, clearly articulated reason for wanting to attend Yale that you state in your essay. If they sense you just want to boost your prestige, you’re out of luck.
