Transfer transcript meaning unknown , help plz!!

<p>Hi, I have gotten into West Virginia University as an International transfer student. Last night there was a development on the student’s system. Earlier my class type was noted as ‘freshmen’ ( coz they were still evaluating my courses ) but then it changed to ‘junior’.</p>

<p>But in the transfer transcript, the following information was displayed :</p>

<p>Total Institution Credit : 0
Total Transfer Credit : 64
Total Overall : 64</p>

<p>I just wanted to know what does this mean?? Does this mean I have gotten 64 credits transferred or that I have got 0 transferred? What does Institution credit and transfer credit mean??? </p>

<p>Well, you can only really know by calling them… which is a fine idea.</p>

<p>But I would interpret it to mean 0 credits earned at that institution (WVU), 64 credits transferred in, for a total of 64 credits.</p>

<p>ah! thanks andale! I think the same coz I searched on google and found someone else’s transcript where the Total Institution and Total Transfer were added up to give the Total Overall. The addition only makes sense in this scenario. :)</p>
