I’m a student at the College of Lake County (2 year school in Illinois), and I want to major in philosophy then go to law school. Currently I have a 3.72 gpa with 29 credits, but after this semester is over it’ll probably drop to a 3.58 and with 41 credits. Since UIUC takes high school gpa and act into consideration if you apply with less than 30 credits, does my high school gpa of 3.0 and my 28 ACT along with my two semesters of a 3.72, make me more competitive than just a 3.58 college gpa? I’m also a writing tutor at my school
