<p>I’m really interested in transferring to duke for my sophomore year of undergrad. Anyone have any advice/know of anyone that has been accepted to duke as a transfer? Do they take as few transfers as all the Ivies/other top tier schools? Thanks in advance!</p>
<p>A few students are accepted for as sophomore transfers; it’s not unprecedented, but neither is it common. If you truly excel in during your freshman year – to the degree that senior administrator(s) and professor(s), at your current university, are willing to contact their Duke colleagues and urge them to lobby Undergraduate Admissions for your acceptance – you could have a shot.</p>
