What are the chances of getting into a school I was waitlisted to as a high school senior? I’m currently a freshman in my second semester at another in-state university.

@xraymancs I have a 2.98, but I only took 4 classes because I dropped a class and I got a C in calculus. The website says 3.0 and above is competitive though
You might have to try for a transfer in your third semester then since you really need to get your GPA up this term.
3.5 is considered the cutoff for selective universities. Even then that’s a little low if one wants to be competitive. Take a semester of core classes you excel in usually and then try to transfer.
