Transfering as a senior to Philly schools

Hi,

I am a junior majoring in Biology at Stony Brook University in Long Island, NY. My fiancee lives in Philadelphia, and we want to get married this summer, therefore, I was thinking whether it would be possible for me as a junior who has more than 60 credits to transfer to Temple University or Drexel University or Penn State.

I have a year left in Stony Brook in order to graduate, but I really don’t like it here in Stony Brook. At the same time I have done so much work here in Stony and leaving everything to start again in a new place is very intimidating. Please, help me. I don’t know what should I do. Any response would be greatly appreciated. What do you think I should do?

Thank you!

Well, Penn State isn’t anywhere near Philadelphia, so you might want to cross that one off. You should look on the websites for Temple and Drexel to see what the transfer requirements are. Drexel would be very expensive. You might want to check out Villanova, too, if money is no object.

Most schools will want you to stay 2 years to get their diploma, check with the individual schools.

thank you guys. I will try to check with the transfer office of each school, and see what I can do.
