Hey guys, I’m just wondering which one is better in terms of raising the chances of accepting from a university as a transfer student? Should I go to SF State University first or University of Portland first, and THEN transfer to another university/ college.
For a transfer, I am aiming higher on where I want to transfer, so I would like to raise my chances as much as possible with every aspect.
If you’re looking to transfer no matter what (especially if you are looking to stay in state), then go to a community college for a year to save money. It’s a waste of your time and money to go from university to university if you have no intention of staying there. I almost took out a loan for a private school I knew I was going to transfer from. I chose community college instead before transferring and it got my GPA up and I was able to take classes to figure out my interests without a whole lot of risk at a four year university.
Transferring is the move if you are looking to go to a better school than what you could do right after high school. Hope this helps!
