<p>Ok so let me start off by saying that I don’t mind criticism even if it seems offensive. Here is my question, which schools on my list (below) do you think I can get into with these credentials. </p>
<p>Current year: second semester sophomore Schools :Hartwick College 08-09 Onondaga Community College 09- </p>
<p>Major: Architecture</p>
<p>Future major: Mechanical Engineering,Aerospace Engineering, and Materials Engineering are all possible</p>
<p>High school GPA :2.1 current GPA : 3.5 ( could be as low as 3.2 have not gotten back last grade but most likely not)</p>
<p>Essay: Great </p>
<p>Recommendations: 1 from English professor that said “one of the best students I’ve had in 29 years of teaching” 1 from my high school consoler most likely decent. </p>
<p>Ethnicity: Palestinian American </p>
<p>Religion: Islamic (will this not work out as Villanova is a Jesuit Institution) </p>
<p>Schools for Fall 2010: 1st Villanova, 2nd Syracuse, 3rd Rochester IT</p>
<p>High school and ECs etc: Wrestling 5 yrs Earned letter, Mohawk valley wrestling 3 years, 5th NYS Grecko 2005,6th NYS freestyle 2005, Over ten tournament awards </p>
<p>Football 7 yrs, Starting DE for Class AA state champion team with letter, letter from congressmen, college football 1 year : Hartwick College football varsity DE 1 year 3 years</p>
<p>J.V. wrestling tourney volunteer, race for respect 07 </p>
<p>I had a lot going on in high school that prevented me from maxing out my potential. Two of my friends died, and that just deterred me from doing work and inevitably lead to depression. I worked through that and made it into a decent college (Hartwick), but it wasn’t the right fit for me and I left Hartwick College for an opportunity at a great school, not a mediocre one. I hear that Villanova is very hard to get into but it seems like the most desirable to me. Do I have any chance of getting into these schools, what should I do to help my chances, are there any other schools I should look at???Would like to here from Nova,SU,RIT students.</p>
