transfering high schools?

i am currently attending St. louis University high school, which is gennerally regarded as a top school, but i was wondering if colleges really look at transfering schools. Im a junior now and most of my freinds go to the school in my town, and one of the last people i hang out with at SLUH is leaving this semester. would colleges frown upon transfering schools in the middle of junior year? would it be more influencial in bi-state area becuase sluh is a supierior school?

I am kind of in the same situation except I will be moving to one the best schools in CA.

i don’t think so. i transferred schools at the beginning of junior year. however, tranferring schools in the middle of junior year sounds a bit sketchy, so you may want to explain why you transferred. a good reason is to say is that they didn’t have the courses you wanted or something, if the real reason is because it was too hard.

if i were you, i’d hang in there till graduation. you only have 1 1/2 years left of high school. stick it out if you can.

Are you doing well in SLUH? If your grades are low, they might think that you left b/c you can’t handle it.
