<p>I’m currently a high school senior enrolled in a Running Start program, in which I receive both HS and College credits while attending a CC. Unfortunately, I did not apply to any schools because of (1) my family’s finances, (2) my HS GPA and transcript (I screwed up in my first two years of HS), and (3) I didn’t know what I wanted to do.</p>
<p>I had started the University of Washington application for freshman, but stopped, started again, but stopped.</p>
<p>Now I am forced to transfer. In the beginning I thought this would be a great, inexpensive way to get GenEd requirements. However, I took requirements that fit a Social Science major, not a Science major. At the time I had been switching between English and Criminal Justice, but have always had Pre-Med in the back of my mind. I am now planning on majoring in Microbiology.</p>
<p>I feel that I have a good chance transferring into UW, but am nervous regarding a few things:</p>
<p>(1) I will be a Junior, but won’t have the credits to graduate in time.</p>
<p>(2) I won’t be able to complete FYE and meet other new students that are my age. </p>
<p>(3) I worry that I will not be able to make friends if I transfer in Winter (see above)</p>
<p>(4) I may need to go to Temp Housing.</p>
<p>It may sound trivial, but it is all very important to me. I feel as if I will miss out on so much.</p>
