Transfering to a school I was waitlisted at?

<p>I was waitlisted by my top choice (Lafayette College) and did not accept my spot on the waitlist. That is one of the schools I am considering transfering too ( I first wnet througha phase where I was going to work my balls off for two years and then transfer somehwere bette, but after looking trhough some of my old Lafayette mail while cleaning out my desk I decided it is still where I want to be)</p>

<p>My questions:
!.Would it be ok to try and transfer for sophmore year? Should I wait and apply as a second semester soph or a junior? (I will be seeking financial aid)
2.Should I attend a community college near my home for around $3702/year or go to Binghamton for $21000/year?</p>

<p>I was a B+/A- student in high school 3 aps taken with a 4th that I self studied, 5s on each exam that I got the grades back for, 1390/2100 on my sats, involved in athletics and a few clubs, worked full time during the summers</p>

<p>I’m actually thinking of doing the same thing (waitlist at 2 school, denied by both) except that I won’t attend a community of CA’s equivalent of the SUNY system, CSUs.</p>

<p>You should try transfering as a freshman or sophomore. It depends on the college.</p>
