<p>I am currently at Ventura Community College but need to start applying for the fall next month! I just changed to a Comm major and I want to minor in LGBT studies to do activism work. Because of that, I figure I should transfer to a big city like SFSU, SDSU, CSULA… something like that… but I would rather go to a college town school like Chico or something. I dont know if I should even bother with a UC or is CSU is my best option. I have only gotten one B so far at VC so I know my gpa is a 3.8 or 3.9 something just off the top of my head. How do I get the scoop on whats good and bad about my options, the ups and downs of each school and then decide where to apply? I would greatly appreciate some help I dont have much time!</p>
<p>All the schools should have the Comm major but not all have the LGBT minor. Check assist.org and narrow your list. Then do your online research and make some calls. A few that come to mind are UCLA and SDSU. Your high GPA would qualify you for UCs. Good luck!</p>
