I am currently attending my local cc and I messed up my first semester really bad. I ended up with 2.09 gpa but I am doing much better this semester and I was wondering if I can actually get into Minnesota State University Mankto. I need to apply soon and I can’t wait until the semester is over. Do you think I will get in or what do you think I should do?

Have you looked at their website? Their transfer student admission requirements aren’t difficult. If you’re doing well this semester and can meet their minimum credit requirement, I see no reason for you to not be accepted.

“Transfer students who have completed at least 24 semester (36 quarter) college level credits at a regionally accredited college or university with a 2.0 cumulative grade point average and satisfactory completion of at least 67 percent of the credits attempted will generally be admitted to Minnesota State University, Mankato with advanced standing.”
