I’m currently a junior majoring in International Relations at Tufts (4 yr university) and am looking to transfer to UCSB for Fall '10 as a Pre-Bio major due to a rather late-in-game realization of where my academic interests lie.

I won’t have extensive coursework in Bio (2 semesters each Bio & Chem), so I plan on being there for at least 2 years. I just have a bunch of extraneous courses that wouldn’t be necesary for my bio major.

UCSB states quite explicitly that they don’t accept senior transfers, so I was just wondering if anyone has had any experience with UCSB (or any of the UC’s, I guess) making exceptions to this rule, especially for students who are transfering into a major that they haven’t completed many of the requirements for yet.
