Transferrable math/personal statement problem HELP

Okay, so I am applying as an English major but I am also pre-med. I am involved with pre-med clubs on campus (I hold a leadership position in one).
I wrote my personal statement 1 already and am just now thinking this might pose a problem. Math has been a struggle for me and am currently retaking a math class this semester. It is not transferable. I wrote my personal statement on my interest in English and how being a part of these clubs has really impacted me etc. I am worried however that they will look at the fact that I haven’t completed my transferable math class yet and won’t until the spring semester. Will they reject me for this? My GPA is above the average admitted for English majors but I am concerned this will be an issue. By the way, I realize I have to become better at math if I ever want to become a doctor. I have been working really hard this semester and have an A in the class. (After all I did take this twice already) -.- ugh please help me!!!

I don’t really understand what you’re asking… personal statements and pre-reqs are completely different things. Your personal statement should be about why you picked your major, why you love it, personal experiences/connections to it, etc.

Pre-reqs (or requirements in general) are completely different… and there’s really no reason why taking a math class late should affect you. It’s not even relevant to your major. If they do care about your grades in it, they can put it in the terms and conditions of acceptance.

there are two section in the UC application where you can explain this sort of thing. Right after you enter your grades or after your personal statements.

Basically I am asking if they will see my bad history with Math, see how I am pre-med and automatically reject me for that because it is not competitive enough.
