<p>So I’m starting at a community college in the fall and want to transfer to uw madison after a year, which has an agreement with my cc that if you have above a 3.0 you get in automatically, but I don’t want to stay at madison after I transfer. Could I transfer to madison and then transfer to a private school?</p>
<p>Have you checked into the scholarships that are offered for transfers? If you are starting at a community college to save money, you are not likely to afford a private college with the reduced financial aid given to transfers. If you can transfer to UW, you will likely be way ahead financially to stay there.</p>
