Transferring after two years

I got waitlisted and I probably won’t get off, unless I end-up sending in my appeal packet explaining my testing anxiety and they actually care. So, my only other college that I got into that I can afford is Eastern Washington University. Not a great school… I really wish I applied to Western. Even though they take late apps, so many people applied this year, I doubt it’d do much for me. So, would it be better to just go to Eastern for two years, or a community college? The CC here (Clark) is terrible, and I really want to be around Seattle, so I was thinking of maybe going to Seattle Central CC or going to Edmonds and living in housing. It’d probably cost me around the same to do that as it would to go to EWU though…

I don’t know, I need suggestions!

Seattle Central is a great school. I transferred to UW from there. Some of the professors at Seattle central are better than any professor I’ve had at UW. seriously.

portableheart, If I were you I would go to one of the many Seattle’s community colleges and then transfer. You will be able to do it after a year! (at this point they won’t pay attention to your HS grades).

I suppose it depends on the price of Seattle apartments, haha. Considering that I would not be getting aid to go live on my own, it may actually cost me more to go to a CC than EWU…

Yeah, Seattle Community Colleges don’t allow loans. So you have to pay your own ticket.
