<p>A friend of mine applied to UM Engineering this year and was deferred, then rejected. She is planning on attending UM-Dearborn but wants to transfer to Ann Arbor badly at semester. Is a transfer at semester common? What sort of things should she do to help her get it? Thanks</p>

<p>I knew someone who transfered after Fall semester, but that friend of mine did summer session at that college. She needs a minimum of 30 college credits before she can transfer.</p>
<p>I know someone who transferred from a small LAC after Fall semester. So it’s possible. Just make sure she pulls a 4.0 and hope for the best. I dont think many people for UM-Dearborn get transfers.</p>
