Okay, so here’s the situation. I’m a sophomore. Last year, freshmen year, I went to a Minnesota state school six hours away from my home in North Dakota. I absolutely loved it, made friends right away, was getting involved on campus and getting good grades, it was awesome. Over the summer though some things went down in my personal life and I panicked and moved home to be near family because I wasn’t sure if I’d be able to make it on my own financially and emotionally (in hindsight I’ll totally be fine). So I start school here and right off the bat, I know that the Minnesota school was a better fit for me. The campus was smaller, class size was smaller, and I just liked it better in general. I realized that my reasons for coming back to my hometown weren’t good ones and my decision to come back home was a decision I made when I was in panic mode and not a decision I thought through fully. I dropped all my classes before the drop date and am basically taking a semester off to save money, recover from my summer from hell, and get my shit together.
ANYWAYS, I reapplyed to the Minnesota school and they’re asking for my transcript from the ND school but the thing is, I didn’t actually take any classes there. Do I still need to send for it? Isn’t that kind of pointless? What do I do? I’m in panic mode again lol.
Has anyone transferred back to their original school before? After how long? Was it worth it?
