Transferring Back to Previous School

If I withdraw from a new college that I transferred to in order to transfer back to my original college, is this considered, “dropping out”? How bad will this look for grad school acceptance?

What’ll look bad for grad school acceptance is the fraud you perpetrated to get there…

I’m searching for examples of people posting about the consequences of such lying and found this on a med school forum:
"I just wanted to post this because I’ve seen what can happen first hand. The student I posted about was a great person, very well liked in the class and hard working. This student made a poor choice by lying in the app process and now is paying dearly. Basically this student has gone through most of medical school, taken over 100K in loans with nothing to show for it. Furthermore, this student will not be able to get into any medical school in the country. "

My point being that nobody cares if you transfer and then decide you liked your old school better – it only affects you, probably extending your time in college and whatnot. “Dropping out” is not the problem.
