In my fall semester this year, I took a dual enrollment English class at my local CC, and I’ve been interested in taking more classes to fulfill some gen eds this summer before getting to Pitt. Does anyone know how many credits you can enter in with while keeping freshman standing? Is this something I’d talk to an advisor about?

My DD will be bringing about 40 credit hours with her. How does this affect her standing as a freshman (or sophomore), and what are the negative effects of coming in with that much credit? I don’t understand the consequences to know which questions to ask. Help?
