My son is thinking about transferring- wondering if SAT/ACT are required when you transfer as a sophomore?
Check the college to which he wants to transfer. The school will tell you what is required…and this could vary from school to school.

That’s right, each school has its own policies. Some (like Cornell) even alter the policy depending on how long ago you took the tests.
Look at the Common Data Set, section D. If it says “some students” it is probably for those with less than two years of college.
