I’m currently enrolled at Ohio State but hoping to transfer to the University of Cincinnati in the fall. My GPA is not where it should be due to a bout with depression and lack of motivation and I’m a little nervous about being accepted. I’ve been considering possibly spending a semester at the local community college if I’m not accepted. I’m confident in my ability to do well in school now that I’ve resolved some issues in my personal life. I was just wondering if that would look good/bad for admissions to a new university. I could do the next semester at OSU but I don’t see the point in paying tuition if I intend to transfer as soon as possible. Also, I was wondering when applying to community college if I should apply as a degree seeking student if I only intend to spend a semester there?
