Transferring credit from CSU for freshman

I’m an incoming freshman to Cal (not transfer student), but I took a year of math classes, (multi var. calc and linear alg) at San Diego State University during high school. Now since I listed that on my college application, I had to send in a copy of the SDSU transcript for verification along with my high school transcript.
My question is, if I want to transfer the SDSU credits would I have to send another copy of the SDSU transcript? Either way, how/where would I check to see if my credits transferred and what kind of credit I got at Cal?
Thanks in advance for answers.

You don’t need to send the transcript again.

You get college credit. Aka, they can actually fulfill breadth/pre-reqs :D

Yes, no need to resend your transcript if you’ve already sent it once before.

So how/where would I check to see what kind of credit I got? Also how would 2 semesters of math class from SDSU show up on my Berkeley transcript when I apply to medical school? Cause I’m trying to get that to fulfill a year of math for premed.
Again thanks in advance.

It would equal 8 credits. It will eventually appear on your DARS report so you can check there, but Berkeley is usually quite slow at inputting these kinds of things :(. Your grades will appear on the transcript sent to Medical School. It might fulfill the required year of math but this varies from school to school.

What exactly is 8 credits worth? It’s not the same as 8 units right? Does it count toward your graduation requirement of 120 units?

Yes. The units transfer fully, they count for everything. The grades won’t show on your UC GPA, but if you ever apply to grad school, you’ll need to send that SDSU transcript in.
