My name is Mario and I currently attend Waynesburg University and just completed a not so stellar first year. My fall GPA was a 1.8 because I tanked two courses That I wanted to drop and passed the deadline. My fall was a lot to handle with a parent divorce and my mother becoming disabled. My spring semester was a big improvement to a 2.8 which brought my overall GPA to a 2.2. I’m retaking my two “bad” courses both science with labs 8 credit total this fall and staying at college for the spring. I’m expecting a GPA around 3-3.2 and would like to transfer to the following university: James Madison, George Mason, Richard Stockton, FDU Florham, University of New Haven. My reason for leaving is I need somewhere closer to home (NJ) and relative proximity to DC. I am member of INSA (Intelligence and National Security Alliance) I was offered a Internship but declined because of the distance. I want to become an Intelligence Analyst for one of the 17 Intel agency in the United States and will be looking to study National Security Studies, Poli Sci, or International Affairs. I speak English, Spanish, Portuguese and learning Farsi for my future career goals. Advice? Can I make this a reality with a pitiful Fall semester and average spring? All A or B and 2 high C’s besides my two Bad fall grades. Thank you so much. I’m on the verge of crying so don’t mind my grammar.
