Transferring from a CC - how can I make the most out of the next two years?

Hey all, next fall I’ll be starting up at a four year university as a Junior. I’m either majoring Finance or Economics, and I’ll probably minor in whatever I don’t major in. I know a minor isn’t exactly huge, but since I have all my generals I might as well put my other credits towards something that I’m interested in. Anyway, does anyone have tips as to how I can maximize this time, and make me more attractive to companies? I’m hoping that I’ll be able to get at least two internships under my belt as well as join a club or two. I’m just worried that I’m at a slight disadvantage since I spent the first half of my college career at a Community College.

Take on any kind of research experience that you can. Many professors work with students to do original research, which is a great thing to have on a resume. I think the best thing is to simply do as well as you can and participate in things on campus that interest you.
