Transferring from DePaul to Villanova?

I am currently a freshman at DePaul University in Chicago. I am from the east coast and though I love the midwest, I feel more at home in the east. I was planning on transferring to Temple University (because this is a very similar school to DePaul in terms admissions and campus styles along with it offering my major) for second semester of the 2012-2013 academic year. But so far at DePaul I have been achieving fantastic grades. After the first quarter (DePaul is on the quarter system but it is really a Trimester)I had obtained a 3.9 GPA and made the Deans List. So far this quarter I have gotten all A’s and A- on my papers and tests. Because of my higher grades I was thinking of also applying to Villanova (yes I know Villanova is in suburban Philly and has a different feel than these two college). Do you think I would have a shot at getting accepted as a transfer student?
My SAT scores were lower, I believe i got a 1710, which i know is no where near Villanova range but I was wondering if that will be a major factor in the transfer admissions process.
