Transferring from f&m

I just finished my Freshman year at Franklin and Marshall College and am looking to transfer to Cornell school of AEM or IRL for the spring 2010 semester or 2010 fall semester. I currently have a 3.42 GPA, my father went to the architecture school and my cousin went to the school of engineering. I have good extra circulars.
I went to a top New England Prep School and had 3.2 and a 1850 on my SATs. I went to F&M early because a coach persuaded me and I bit the hook. I don’t love the school. Obviously my SATs are very average, but I am have a couple more semesters to get my college GPA up even more. What are my chances?

GPA doesn’t look good…

ILR is more about fit than GPA…i’d say it depends on if anyone else from F&M is applying…

3.42 is rather low for a transfer. I imagine almsot all transfers have above 3.8. I think some of Cornell’s colleges explicitly say you should have above 3.5 or you will not be admitted.
