Transferring from GA to SoCal

Stats: 19, sophomore, 3.0 gpa

I’m trying to work out a possible relocation to a school in Southern California but the odds are seemingly stacked against me as I want to be there by the Fall 2012 semester, most likely will be making the move alone, and I’m cutting it close in terms of money.

I’m determined though, and not so sound overly ambitious but I know I’ll pull it of but the question is “how?”

I’m looking for advice on where exactly to live in SoCal, the schools I should check out, and how to make my way in general. Thanks.

Hi Mike. Have you applied already? I don’t know about the private colleges in SoCal, but the UC and Cal State applications are already closed for Fall 2012. If you are considering grad school, I’d recommend staying in GA for your undergraduate degree, and pursuing grad school at a UC. It’s actually easier to get into grad school at a UC than undergrad, especially for out of state students.
