Transferring from one Ivy to another

I am wondering how hard it would be to transfer from one ivy to another (or a top 20 school) with one semester worth of credits (3.5 gpa, 4 courses),and 4 withdrawls from 2nd semester due to an unexcepted leave of absence. Is it even possible? What are the odds? I'm not sure if my college is a good fit, so I'm looking to create some other options.

Definitely not likely given your four Ws and your 3.5.

Your question is pretty general and answers could vary greatly depending on why you took the leave of absence and what schools you're talking about transferring from and to (eg. Cornell to Stanford is not going to be the same as Harvard to Emory).

From wharton.

the reason for the leave of absence is really the key here.

i applied as a transfer student from brown to penn after my freshman year and got accepted :) (i decided to stay at brown though)

I don't think the question is whether or not it's possible to transfer from one selective school to another, that happens on a every year. Rather, it's the OPs particular status of taking a leave of absence which caused 4 Ws and having a gpa of 3.5 that is the question.
