Transferring from OOS

<p>My friend wants to transfer into UT for Fall '09. She currently has 19CR from a Community College and is taking 17CR at a University (ECU). However, she is in school in North Carolina. I know for Freshmen residency plays a big part in admissions, but does this hold true for transfer applicants as well?</p>

<p>Also, how are her chances looking for Liberal Arts (Psychology) with a 3.2 GPA? =S</p>

<p>Residency plays a big role for both freshmen and transfer applicants.</p>

<p>With a 3.2, she has basically no chance. She’d have to raise her GPA to like a 3.7 or maybe even higher to have a decent shot.</p>
