I am currently a first year law student planning on transferring from Oxford to UPenn for my second year. But because of the late academic calendar in the UK my final exams won’t be done at the time I send in my application. How do UK students generally solve this problem?
Actually, it won’t be that much different than for US students who transfer between first and second year: US students send their first term marks, and secondary school stats are a heavy part of the application review. You will have your collection results (that you should be just about to sit…) and your A levels.
I wouldn’t be too optimistic about how many credits will transfer though- you may need to do some summer work to graduate in 3 more years.
