Transferring into UC as a sophomore?

I had a h.s gpa of 3.2 9-11th grade, however senior year I improved and got a 3.5, 3.75 weighted. I was originally hoping to transfer as a junior to UC Berkeley but my other school I would want to transfer to is UC Davis. In case I get impatient would I be able to transfer into Davis after one year? is it even possible?
P.S my sat scores are Critical Reading- 650, math-670, writing-700 and Literature-650 and MathLev2- 610.
Thanks for any imput

It’s possible as long as you have 60 semester/ 90 quarter units completed. This is the UC policy. Not many people transfer after one year because the amount of units required normally takes 2 years to finish. (And if you’re a science major, its probably even harder to do it in one year because of the amount of courses you have to take.) Unless you have enough ap credit, and your major requires few core courses, then it is probably not possible to transfer in one year.
Btw, the UC do not look at the sat scores for transfer students. They mainly look at your gpa, and the completion of your major courses.
Good luck. Whats your major btw?

is that 90 quarter units by time of matriculation?

^^ It says on the website after spring semester. Is the application deadline for transfers really in November? Why so early? I have about 56 AP semester units for UCB so I would be able to do it but I don’t know if it would be a smart idea to apply as a transfer before even one semester of college grades. I didn’t apply to any UC’s the first time btw.

I am pretty sure they take soph transfers which means you would only need 45 qtr units but the application process is similiar to freshman and I am pretty sure it includes Sat Scores?

Jess is this what you are referring to?

Because I am pretty sure the UC’s normally do not accept students with under 90 quarter units. Perhaps this is another exception. If that’s the case, then i do not know if they look at your sat scores. Normally, if you’re at junior status already, the UC’s do not look at the sat scores.
