<p>For anyone who’s transferring, are you going to send a letter to your professors and dean about your transfer? </p>
<p>I think I am going to. Just not sure what to write…any suggestions? Is It noteworthy to state the school that I have transferred to?</p>
<p>If you are talking about the profs who wrote recommendations for you (or cc profs who you had a good relationship with), it is a wondeful idea to write letters - thanking them for the rec, thanking them for the great start to your college career… And, yes, mention the school you chose.</p>
<p>It can be just a short note. Handwritten is always really nice. </p>
<p>For the Dean, I don’t know that I would unless you happen to have a personal relationship with the Dean.</p>
<p>Yeah, I really doubt the dean would care… and make sure you only write to the professors you had a good relationship with or they wont care either…</p>
