Transferring out of Berkeley to a community college

I’ve been thinking lately about how I wasted my entire four years in high school by trying to score an acceptance in the college admissions process. Wasted, because I could’ve just went on a community college after high school, and transferred to UCLA/UCB afterwards. Not to mention I could’ve saved money.

Now I’m at Berkeley, and the experience has so far been unpleasant. Is it possible to transfer to finish my freshman year at UCB, transfer to a CC, finish my sophomore year there, and then transfer back or to UCLA? To save money of course.

yes, of course. You just finish this semester and then enroll in your local juco. There is no ‘trasnfer’ per se. Of course, there is no guarantee that you will get into UCLA two years hence.

As bluebayou said, you dont need to transfer. Just take a few semesters off, go to a CC and re-enroll at Cal.

I wonder why you didn’t like Cal. The only way to succeed is to be very pro-active.
