Hi, I’ve been given a financial aid package that would put me in debt but not crazy heavy debt. However, I’m scared this package might be lower for sophomore year. If that happens, I might transfer out and go back to my state university (Rutgers). So I’m just wondering, how bad will it look to (employers, etc) transfer back to a state university?
Also, side question: do you think it’ll be worth it if your total debt for 4 years is under 100k?

Thanks!

I thought GW had fixed tuition, meaning that the financial aid packaged and tuition costs would freeze for four years and be the same.

There’s fixed TUITION. But i’m not sure about financial aid. I think i remember them saying the financial aid is subject to change.

If you have need based financial aid, you need to reapply each year. If you and/or your parents financial circumstances change, so will your financial aid.

if you have merit based aid im sure it depends on your grades also.
