<p>I am currently attending a community college and hoping to transfer to a few colleges including TCU, University of MN, Michigan Tech as well as my safety, NDSU. My current GPA is a little confusing as I retook a class for a better grade. With both grades granting towards my GPA, it stands at a 3.05 and with the first attempt dropped I am at a 3.32. While I know that is fairly low considering the schools I am looking at, my question is if my most recent semester being a 4.0 will help my chances to these schools? Do more recent grades have a stronger standing than those taken the year before? I am really concerned if I am over my head with the schools I am looking at. Please Help!</p>
