This fall I’m going to be applying to a handful of schools after commuting to a junior college my sophomore year and this upcoming fall. My freshman year I went to a state school on a athletic scholarship and had a strong first semester but my second semester wasnt so hot. I ended getting kicked off scholarship and hung up the cleats for my athletic career. My gpa there is a 2.71 overall which is’nt a huge dissappointment but I wish it was above a 3.0 at least.
I am now at my local junior college and I plan on leaving with a 3.5 for a gpa if I finish up at a good pace. I am from Massachusetts which is a top notch college and highschool area as well. My uncle is head of admissions at a college and he says schools out of state love Mass kids because they are hardworking and exceellent students.
Now I am looking to head to a 4-year school primarily in the top 25 rankings for public colleges. Right now I have Georgia, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, Pitt, Rutgers, Uconn, UDel, Charleston, and N.C State.
What are my chances getting into these schools? Oh and I am a Communications major too. Thanks !
