Transferring to Biomedical Engineering from non-engineering major

i called the office and they told me about taking some kind of screening courses that you have to take in the first six or three quarters (can’t remember) before you can transfer into bioengineering. they wouldn’t explain anything in particular, but can someone do it here in a very simple way? does it mean i have to completely ignore my other major and pursue those screening courses or what? also, since you are doing the pre-major for your freshman year…does it make u graduate one year later?

Call the office back and talk to as many people as needed to get the clarification you need.

I don’t think anyone here can speak for the Jacobs School of Engineering.

Best of luck.

is it possible to switch from an undeclared major to an engineering major?
