transferring to Cal as a history major

i currently attend purdue university as a poli sci major. i will be a sophomore next year and i want to transfer to Cal as a junior.
my grades are decent (A/Bs) except for one class that i got a D in.
how is the competition for history major to transfer to Cal?
are there specific criteria?</p>

<p>i suggest you stay another year, raise up your gpa, and transfer as a junior. you’d have a better shot.</p>
