I am currently freshman a computer engineering major at Texas A and M university and am hoping to transfer to Cornell. I got a 4.0 my first semester and am on track to do the same this semester. I went to high school in Canada and received good grades, so I am an international student. I did not do so well on my SAT getting a 1310. What do you think my chances are of being accepted to Cornell Computer Science?
Your stats are as good as any undergraduate. With computer science, it really doesn’t make a difference where you go to school because you’re in very employable degree at a top ranked program. There would be no benefit to transferring, but there would be a lot more cost going to a private school.
Apply & see what happens. Can’t do better than a 4.0.
