Hello.

I want to apply next year and would like to improve my chances.
I’m transferring from a community college with 3.9 GPA. I’m not an honor student although I wanted to be one, but my English was bad [I came to the US 2 years ago, I’m not an international student, I’m a permanent resident.) and I don’t have any recommendation letter(s) (I didn’t ask for them, ever).

My concerns and thoughts:
- I think my GPA is high enough.
- I don’t have any recommendation letters.
- Never did SAT or something like that (and from my reading at Berkeley’s website, I don’t need to).
- I’m 23 (24 when I’ll transfer). How this will affect my chances and social life at campus?
- I’m not an honor student (and don’t have any accomplishments since I finished my high school in a different country)
- I’ll be only 3 years in the country.

Thanks for your help.
