<p>Hi I’m currently at NYU c/o 2014. (going to be a sophomore next year)</p>
<p>I am wondering whether or not anyone knows of stories where people have transferred to UCB from a private university and perhaps what they’re GPA/major or stats were.</p>

<p>Well judging by your username…just kidding. You can look up common data set for stats, but you should know that junior college students from in state will take precedence over out of staters (correct me if i’m wrong). For those students it has often been argued that the bar is set lower, whether it be by raw grades or the assumption that a 4.0 from a community college is not as competetive as one from other 4 year universities. Either way, without knowing your particular information it’s hard to judge, and I wouldn’t advise going by anecdotes. Best of luck!</p>
