<p>I’m currently a Freshman at IVC and i plan to transfer to UCI in one year. I can do this due to my many AP credits. However, due to full classes, i probably wont be able to have one of the Prereq courses completed for my major (computer science). How badly will this hurt my chances if I maintain a high GPA</p>

<p>It depends on the whole package. Did you complete IGETC, maintain a solid GPA, and complete all other prerequisites? It’s not always just about one class, especially with UCI.</p>
<p>I successfully transferred to Berkeley in 1 year. Not recommended, ended up dropping out of Berkeley. Had I done it in 2 years I would have gotten my bachelors years ago. Take your time, unless your smart </p>
