<p>I am currently applying to the UW for fall '09 as a transfer from Shoreline Community College. </p>
<p>I have a 3.47 gpa with most of the classes being heavy in the science and math area. I also have a lot of work/EC experience. I work at Stevens Hospital as a nursing assistant and apart from activities that I do with my pre-med club I also attended an intensive medical program at Duke University School of Medicine last summer. I am an African American if that matters and was born in the states but moved to Nigeria for four crucial years of my life (11-15) then came back to the U.S.</p>
<p>I have been at Shoreline for 4 quarters now and want to be a UW student not only because it is so convenient but also because I am a pre-med student and it has an eminent pre-med program.</p>
<p>I just want to know my chances! Could someone take the time to consider this? Possibly someone who is also applying to UW as a transfer?!</p>
