I decided to transfer pretty late and I can’t stay at my current school because they don’t offer the prerequisite coursework for graduate school in my major. I planned to take the sat in March, but because of COVID19, it was canceled the morning of. The schools I want to go to require the sat, but I did apply to a school that doesn’t, but I prefer not to got there but will for a year. I really want to try for the other school next year, but I am wondering how will transferring schools twice look? I can’t just stay at my current school and try from there because none of the course would transfer.
Bump
I think that it is hard to say much without more information.
Can you name the school that you are transferring to and the one that you would prefer to transfer to?
Have you called admissions at the school that you would rather transfer to and seen if you can apply without the SAT? They might make an exception since the SAT exams are being cancelled due to the coronavirus. It would not hurt to ask.
I am transferring to one of the big 10 state schools. I prefer to transfer to Vanderbilt, Northwestern or an Ivy. I contacted the schools and some waived it, others did not.
