Transferring with a 3.25?

I’m going to be applying to Cal States this October for Fall 2013 with a major in Biological Anthropology. What are my chances of getting in with a 3.25? My number one choice is Sacramento (Only cal state that has a Major in Bio anthro). This is not an impacted major. I have two Withdraws and a D. Other than that, It’s mostly A’s and B’s. But If I need to get my gpa a little higher, I can retake the D and I’m 100% I will get at least a B in the class (this will bring my gpa to a 3.34). But if I do this, it’s going to make it a little harder on me next semester because I will have to cram 5 classes Spring 2013. Honestly, I’m probably not going to do that. I think my chances are pretty good. What do you think?

You should have no problem getting in Sac State with your GPA in a non-impacted major. My drama major son had around a 3.1-3.2 CC GPA and got in both Cal Polys, Fullerton, San Diego, Long Beach, San Fran, and Bakersfield (his safety school) for Fall 2012. He is starting this fall at UC Santa Cruz, after also getting into UCD, UCSB, UCI, and UCR.
